Out Trip to Griffeen Valley Educate Together School for the opening of their Mural

Three girls from 5th and 6th Class went to Griffeen Valley School with three boys from Plás Mhuire B.N.S, Mr. Kerr and Ms. Cawley, to represent our school at the launch of their murals. Several students accompanied us around their magnificent school. The principal for their school used to work in the boy's school beside us for 15 years before he left for Griffeen Valley. Our school is a lot different than theirs. For example, they don't have to wear uniforms but we do, but we do not mind this, as we feel equal. One of our pupils cut the ribbon to the entrance of their school. Our School Citizen made a speech explaining about the display of our mural. Another pupil took some great pictures with Ms. Cawley's camera, some of which you can see here. Most of all we would like to thank Manuel and Marvin for helping us to paint our wonderful mural.
